Conscientization Programme- Air Pollution

Education has the ability to unlock potential, foster critical thinking and to empower individuals to create a positive change in society. Nature holds immense significance in our lives. Air pollution harms health, damages the environment, and contributes to climate change through the release of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere.Through this  conscientization programme, the student teacher gave  awareness on Air pollution - causes, impact & remedial measures. 

Conscientization is crucial for empowering individuals, promoting social justice, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging civic engagement. Its significance lies in creating awareness, challenging oppressive structures, and driving social transformation.

A conscientization programme on Air pollution was conducted on 12 th January 2024 in  the 8 C class of St. Stephen's High school, Pathanapauram. The class was taken to create an awareness about environmental degradation to students of 8 C . The topic chosen for the programme is air pollution one of the prominent threatfaced by our nature today. Using power point presentation the various causes, effects & remedial measures of air pollution was discussed to the students of 8 C. The students actively involved in the discussion and shared their thought and knowledge.
