Third week of Teaching practice (24/6/24-28/6/24)

24/6/24 

Third week of my teaching practice started on 24 th june 2024,After the prayer song I went to my concern class, there I completed the lesson. And I gave them some question answers, later I got substitution hours and the day ended as normal day.

 25/6/24

It was a working but there was no regular class due to the “ Merit Day “ function. 

26/6/24

It was a working day, the day begin with a first-rate assembly. The assembly was conducted by VIII standard students and they did it well. They started the assembly with a melodies  prayer, they delivered a speech related to “Anti- Drug  Day “, the mother's from nearby Aashabhavan came to share their time with us on that day. We honoured them with our love and gifts. The assembly ended with the national anthem. In order to complete my portion I got a substitution hour at 5 th period and there I taught them a grammar part ( suffixes).During the afternoon session with the joined hands of teachers and B. Ed trainers showed a short film for the students of 5 th std, they enjoyed watching that film. The students actively answered each question and cleared their doubts. The day winds up with lots of good memories. 

27/6/24

The day started as usual with our morning prayer. I taught them another grammar portion (Question tag) . They showed their interest to do more questions when they learned the rules for completing the questions. They showed the answers at the end of the class. Then I got substitution hours, and I conducted exams for the students of 9 D by the instructions given by Leena ma'am, due to her absence on that day. The day ended normally. 

28/6/24

The last day of our third week started with the sweet voice of our students who sang the prayers. Later I went to my concerned class and there I conducted an exam ( Diagnostic exam) for my students to check their strengths and weaknesses in learning. Then my Optional teacher Jijan sir came to observe my class and he checked my records carefully and then he left the class after observing my teaching. Then I got substitution hours at 7 B, and 6 C there I had a good conversation with them and they shared their dreams with me. The day ended happily. 

second week(18/6/24-22/6/24)

 Today, as usual, we reached the school at sharp 9:00 am. And we signed our attendance register, later I got my signed lesson templates and I took my class at 8 L and I got one more substitution period there at the class, so I completed another small part of that story and students actively responded in the class. The day winds up as usual. 

19-6-24

The day started with a morning assembly conducted as part of “ Reading Day".The students from class 9 th conducted the assembly and there had a speech, pledge and the assembly ended with the national anthem. So, I missed my period, but my concerned teacher gave another period for me to take my portion. Students are ready to do activities and they share their ideas about the story. 

20-6-24

It was a working day for school, but due to some personal reasons I was off on that day. 

21-6-24

The day began with prayer and after that I went to my class to take my portion. And I realised that students are so eager to do activities. They liked to learn new vocabulary and they tried to use it in suitable situations. Later I got substitution hours at 5th &7 th classes, there I engaged them by giving some word puzzle games. They liked it well. And the day ended peacefully. 

22-6-24

It was a working day for school, but for writing the K-TET exam I was off on that day. 

School internship phase II

12-6-2024 

  Our Teaching practice second phase has started on 12 th June 2024@ St. Stephen’s High School pathanapuram .On the first day we had a small  conversation with our headmaster Sleeba sir, he shared his teaching experience as well as guidelines for us. Then I met my concerned teacher Sreeja Miss and she lead me to my class VIII L and she introduced me to them and later I had a small conversation with them and they introduced themselves. Later I asked them to play a small game in order to engage them actively. They actively participated in the game.I am so happy because my previous phase students came to meet me and they shared their happiness with me.And at the end we took a photo with our headmaster and the day ended with a lot of good memories. 

13-6-24

It is our second day at school. I had the first hour at 8 L and there I took the chapter ‘The Mysterious Picture’. Students responded positively towards the question the teacher asked during the teaching time and they actively participated in activities. Later I got substitution hours and the day ended happily. 

14-6-24

On the third day, after signing our attendance register, I went to my concern class to take my lesson templates and they actively responded in the classroom discussion. Later I got substitution hours and the day ended normally. 

15-6-24

It was a working day for school, but due to some personal reasons I was off on that day.

community Living Camp ( 5/6/24- 10/6/24)

We started our community living camp on 5 th June 2024. It was inaugurated by the Honorable Agricultural Minister. That was a nice experience for us. Later, on the second day, we went to Maramon Retreat convention center for our two days stay camp. There we enjoyed a lot with many games that include cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domain of us. That was awesome. We attended two resource person's classes. On the third day we went to our camp trip @ Thenmala, that gave a lot of memories to us. On Monday 10 th June our camp Validitaroy function had taken place. There students shared their camp experience, and all the group who actively participated in the games got prize.
