Last day of Teaching Practice Phase 1 st @ St. Stephen's High School , pathanapuram.

 Due to Makaravilak  15 th January 2024 was declared as an off day for all Government offices. 

16/01/24

 On 16 th January 2024,We reached  school at sharp 9.00 Am. As usual we engaged in our activities and I took my class at 7B . Later we went to teach and watch the annual day events rehearsals. And the day ends with lots of happy moments. 

17/01/24

Today, we reached school at 9.00Am.It was our school’s 98 th Annual Day . We went to see the performance of our students and we encouraged  our students  with applauses and gave sufficient supports.Our management gave  Awards for class toppers and the winners at several co- curricular activities. The guest's gave wonderful speeches and made the event as awesome as they could.

 Today, our teaching team reached school at 9.00 Am. And do our work.  As part of our physical Education, we have to take Yoga and Health classes for students.  I conducted my Achievement test for 7 B students. I told them that I am going back to my college as I completed my first phase teaching practice and I got feedback from my students and I gave them sweets and I was really surprised when they gave me a small beautiful gift. Theday ends with lots of unforgettable memories.

On 19 th January 2024,was an off day for our school due to our management church feast. 

20/1/24

Today, as usual, we reached school at 9.00 Am. And do our regular activities. And we got exam duties. In the afternoon we went to see our headmaster and told him that we are leaving today as we completed our First Phase Internship. He gave our attendance register back with happiness and he blessed us to become a good teacher. Later  I went to see my mentor vipin Sir , he also gave me wishes and advice.At  the end we said goodbye to all teachers and non- teaching staff. They all are happy and they wish us lots of love. 

Teaching practice Phase 1- Eighth week

Again our Teaching practice phase  first restarted on 8 th January 2024.After a short meeting with our Headmaster we got into our allotted works and, I got my signed lesson plan from my concerned teacher. I am so happy, because when they see me they are really happy, and welcome me with their loving words.  I started a new poem “ Mother and the mouse “ .And I showed them the animated video of the poem.so they all are very excited for learning .As usual I got substitution hours and I engaged with them in certain games. My first day ended with lots of memories.

 Today, I had sixth period at 7 B, so during the morning session I got substitution hours. And I and my peer student teacher Vrindha from Natural science option took value based teaching at 5 E based on the important values in life like Leadership and Tolerance. The students are very much interested in listening due to the way we take the class . We took the class by giving some interesting activities. That day also ended with some interesting facts.

It was Wednesday, so I had a third hour at 7 B. And I took the balance portion of the poem “Mother and the mouse “ and I checked their follow up activities. Later I got substitution hours and did my concerned work. The third day also ended peacefully.

This is the fourth day of my teaching practice in 2024 @ st. Stephen's High School. I had the third hour at 7 B. And as usual I got substitution hours and the day ended as a normal day. 

12/04/2024

This is the fifth day of my teaching practice after new year. Today I got substitution hours in the morning session and I took my concerned class at 7 B in the morning session, because of the football match in the afternoon session for 7 th standards. My optional team and Natural science team took conscientization programs @ 8 c during the morning session. There we talked  about air pollution and discussed the causes, effects, remedies etc. Because of the School Anniversary planned to conduct on coming Wednesday , we are allotted to teaching dance for 5 th standard students. We did our best to teach them dance. The day ended with lots of happy moments.
